Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. tissue specificity:Expressed almost exclusively in skeletal muscle and selected areas of the brain, such amygdala, hippocampus, caudate nucleus, thalamus and hypothalamus. Weak expression is also find in substantia nigra.
